Pancake Day, or otherwise known as Shrove Tuesday is usually celebrated before the start of lent, on Ash Wednesday which is 40 days before the celebration of Easter.
Traditionally, English pancakes are made very thin and served immediately; British favourite toppings include lemon juice and sugar, as well as a classic, golden syrup!
When making a pancake, it is only right if you flip (or try to flip) the pancake on to its other side in the pan. With this being said, did you know the record for the highest pancake toss is 9.47m (31ft 1in) made in New York in 2010, flipping fantastic!
