With its enviable coastal location and breathtaking views, Bournemouth is an extremely popular destination for weddings and civil partnerships, offering lots of unique venues.
More than 30 hotels across the resort are licensed to hold weddings, with many offering outside ceremonies in beautiful gardens that flourish in our temperate microclimate.
If you’re looking for something a little different, then the Russell-Cotes Art Museum and Gallery is the perfect choice. The Russell-Cotes is one of the most fascinating historic houses in England. It’s a grade II listed Italian style villa with a spectacular backdrop that’s licensed for wedding and civil partnership ceremonies.
You could even choose to have your ceremony in the restaurant at the end of Bournemouth’s famous pier and, for an extra wow factor, zip wire back to the beach!
All Bournemouth ceremonies are bespoke, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet with your registrar beforehand to discuss your big day.
There are a variety of ceremony rooms inside Bournemouth’s grand Town Hall. These include the Council Chamber with its oak panels, domed ceiling, and truly stately air.
We have a friendly and experienced team of registrars who’ll prompt and guide you throughout your ceremony, so you can relax and enjoy your special day.

If you’re thinking of planning your wedding by the beach, the Branksome Dene Room provides a picture-perfect backdrop along the coast with the most.
