It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And here in Bournemouth, we have a bunch of things lined up for you this December! Join us to celebrate a fun festive time with family, friends and loved ones. So, buckle up and take a look at what we have in store for you!
Family Fun
Get your skates on, and head down to Bournemouth gardens to participate in the ultimate ice-skating experience outdoors, with Skate! With specialised ‘toddler time’ sessions available, as well as family tickets for sell, the whole family can enjoy quality time together. If you would rather experience ice-skating in an indoor environment, the Cool Coast Ice Rink may be the best option for you, opening on Saturday 3rd December, all the way until Sunday 19th February!
Of course, this festive season in Bournemouth, presents Christmas Tree Wonderland for it’s 5th year running! The event is perfect for families, as it has a multitude of festive-themed light illuminations, with a showstopping 60ft walkthrough Bournemouth Wonderland Tree. Christmas Tree Wonderland is perfect for all ages, so what are you waiting for, head down to Bournemouth now to get into the festive spirit!

With pantomime season back in town (oh yes it is!), what other way to warm up the Christmas festivities, other than a classic British tradition?
Bournemouth Pavilion are proud to present a classic fairy tale of Beauty and the Beast, the story of Belle who finds herself imprisoned in an enchanted castle by a prince who has been transformed into a hideous beast by an evil sorceress.
We have other venues in Bournemouth that host a variety of events, whether that be music, comedy, or even sporting events.
Perfect for a get together
In Bournemouth we have plenty of welcoming venues that can accommodate you, in the needs of a get together. The Alpine Lodge adjacent to Bournemouth Christmas Market provides a great space for a ‘get together’ and have some fun evenings like quiz and karaoke nights.
