Pavilion Dance occupies approximately a quarter of the Pavilion Theatre complex on the side facing Bournemouth Pier. Approaching from either side of the building, head towards Bournemouth's iconic Lower Gardens and our main entrance is up on the terrace next to the café.
By car: There are 2000 parking spaces within 10 minutes walking distance. The nearest is the Pavilion Theatre (sat nav BH1 2BU, Westover Road) with alternatives at Bath Road (BH1 2EW). Economical parking is available at Central Car Park on Upper Hinton Road (BH1 2LH) within a 10 minute walk.
From the Pavilion Car Park: walk down the steps to the right of the Pavilion Theatre and you'll see Pavilion Dance over-looking the Lower Gardens.
From Pier Approach or Lower Gardens: Pavilion Dance faces the seafront and Lower Gardens and so can be reached either by the steps or accessible ramp.
By bus: We are a 3 minute walk to major bus routes, the main bus stops are on Westover Road and Gervis Place. For local services call Morebus on 01202 338420.
By train: We are 20 minutes walk from Bournemouth train station. For local services call South West Trains on 0845 6000 650 or visit South West Trains, Trainline, or Megabus (for cheap tickets to and from London).
By bike: There are several places to lock up your bike on Westover Road and on Pier Approach. Dorset Police recommend D-locks to ensure your bike is more secure.
