Cycling challenges - Biking from Highcliffe to Poole – fancy a 35mile round trip challenge? Get on your bike and cycle from Highcliffe, through Mudeford, Hengistbury Head, Southbourne, Bournemouth and on to Poole…plenty of café and ice-cream pit stops. Bike hire options available in resort.
Stunning coastal walks – The perfect way to get out in the open is on a stunning 10-mile coastal walk from Sandbanks in Poole to Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve. On route enjoy an ice cream or stop off at one of the many beachfront cafes and restaurants. If your legs need a rest hop on the *land train to take in the stunning seafront scenery.
*Land train runs daily April – October and weekends throughout the year all subject to weather conditions.
Explore Christchurch River on a self-drive motorboat from Tuckton Tea Gardens and Beautiful Christchurch Quay. The Mudeford Ferry operates between Mudeford Quay and the Beach at Mudeford Sandbank approximately every 15 minutes during British Summer time
