About Us
South Coast Makers is based in the centre of Bournemouth - we are open 7 days a week and are an independent handmade makers store, workshop space, coffee shop and stay and play on the 1st floor of The Avenue on Commercial Road, Bournemouth. Entrance to The Avenue is next to Salt Rock. We are up the stairs from HMV and a lift is also available which is located towards the back of The Avenue.
Our family and dog friendly space specialises in championing the work of local, handmade makers, artists and independent businesses alongside a cosy coffee shop where everyone is welcomed.
We are super passionate about showcasing a wide range of independent makers' work alongside creating a friendly, independent hub of creativity right in the heart of Bournemouth.
We run regular craft workshops and pride ourselves on creating an inclusive and inviting space for all.
Open 11am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sundays.
