About Us
Take your fishing to the end of one of our historic piers. Both Boscombe and Bournemouth piers offer great fishing locations year round.
Boscombe Pier
Boscombe Pier is a typical pier fishing mark. Shorter than Bournemouth Pier and on a sandy bottom, It offers lots of species. You can catch Bass, Bream, Mackeral, Scad, Soles, Smoothounds, Garfish and Gurnard during the summer and Whiting, Flatties, and sometimes Codling during the Winter. Best results come in the evening. Fishing passes can be bought from the car park box at Boscombe Undercliff Car Park. Please be aware that there is no pier fishing during the Bournemouth Air Festival.
There is no price for entry to Boscombe Pier.
Bournemouth Pier
From June through to September expect to find Bass, Smoothhoung, Mullet, Mackerel, Garfish, Gurnard, Bream, Scad, Ray, Dogfish, Soles and Flounders. In the Winter you will see Plaice, Codling and Whiting. Due to the popularity of the pier during Summer, it is reccomended to fish early in the morning or late in the evening prefferably on an incoming tide. Please note that the fishing deck at Bournemouth Pier is closed. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Entry prices can be found on the Bournemouth Pier page.
The beaches themselves offer the perfect spot to catch a variety of fish and local tackle and bait shops can be found dotted along the coast.
