Moving out from the town centre, Bournemouth has several distinct areas with their own identity. The Triangle is popular with our LGBTQ+ community while, situated near the college, Lansdowne is within walking distance for Bournemouth’s ever-growing student population. These locations are gateways to the coastal villages of Boscombe, Southbourne and Westbourne all of which have their own flavour.
Boscombe’s bohemian vibe makes its pubs, bars and clubs appealing to local artists and rising talent. So, you’ll find open mic nights, acoustic sets and DJ sessions on offer. Westbourne and Southbourne are home to independent retailers and boutiques by day so a selection of wine bars and quaint, coastal pubs are the natural fit for these suburban communities.
