About Us

Place Mill is a heritage Mill, situated on the Quomps, Christchurch Quay. Sitting alongside the mill displays, Place Mill has gallery space that is used by artist and maker exhibitions over the summer. This creates a unique showcase of local heritage and culture for both residents and tourists to enjoy. All exhibitions are free of charge and there will be a selection of artwork on sale.

For over twenty years, East Dorset Potters have brought together an eclectic mix of full-time and part-time potters, some of whom teach or have retired from teaching and some who are simply interested in ceramics. This year they've teamed up with Shorebird designs to bring the best of pottery and print to Christchurch's quayside.
