It’s time to celebrate Year of the Coast.
Year of the Coast in 2023 is a celebration of our breath-taking coastline, with a year-long programme of events occurring around the whole of England’s coast, including the opening of new sections of the England Coast Path.
Supported by England’s Coast, and the National Coastal Tourism Academy, we feel it is time to use Year of the Coast to remind you just how amazing a holiday by the sea can be. We’ll be bringing you a range of ideas and highlights for life at the coast here in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, so be sure to bookmark our blog pages and check back regularly.
If you are planning a staycation in 2023, you will be spoilt for choice with our very own English coastline; where the water’s edge is always brimming with a variety of exciting events from festivals to local food markets, walking trails to water sports and much more.
And of course, there’s nowhere better to enjoy Year of the Coast than Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, an area with 15 miles of stunning coastline. Add to this a program of festivals, events and attractions, we truly have got it going on all year round.
Pick a beach bustling with something for all the family or find an idyllic spot – a quieter place to relax and soak up the views.
There’s accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets and restaurants and cafes offering coffee or ice cream to a huge variety of cuisines including local seafood.
Take a walk at your own pace and soak up the impressive scenery, whether it be on the cliff top, along the golden sand or seafront promenade or along England’s Coast Path.
Choose this year to explore new coastal treasures – why not start planning your break to the coast?
During Year of the Coast a warm welcome awaits you, so come make memories here with us on the Coast with the Most.
