Christchurch’s climate is often described as warm and temperate much likes its neighbouring town Bournemouth due to the destinations sharing the micro-climate found in this area of the country.
Temperatures rarely drop below freezing and can be seen to reach highs of over 30 degrees during the hotter summer months such as May, June, July, August, and September. You will typically find that the coldest weather is found during the months of December, January, and February but you can still enjoy days of sunshine in those months allowing visitors to enjoy crisp winter walks along the beach.
Spring is also an enjoyable time to visit Christchurch as the destination is situated amongst plenty of nature which offers visitors a chance to enjoy the beautiful flowering plants and trees. March, April, and May usually offer the best experience to see this stunning time of the year.
