About Us
Avon Beach is a sandy beach situated in the coastal town of Mudeford, the beach sits just east of Mudeford Quay and marks the start of the Christchurch Bay which stretches out towards Highcliffe. Avon beach recently recieved a Blue Flag award in recognition of high standards of cleanliness and water purity.
On the beach you will find a cafe, shop and popular family seafood restaurant The Noisy Lobster.
The beach also contains a number of Beach Huts.
The area directly in front of the car park is allocated for watersports. Besides that the area is great for swimming and bathing. There is a seasonal lifeguard service.
Dogs are not allowed on the beach from May - September but are allowed on a lead on the promenade.
