Boscombe
If you’re looking for antique shops, retro clothing and second hand gems for a more sustainable Christmas, Boscombe is where you should be heading for your Christmas shopping this December.
Whilst you’re browsing the shops in the Sovereign Centre filled with high-street fashion branches, budget shops and health and beauty outlets, perfect for stocking fillers, be sure to admire the festive cheer brought by Santa’s Grotto there. Open until 23rd December from 10.00am-5.00pm and no pre-booking required. A great activity for children and the grotto's proceeds will be supporting the local community and the Rotary Club of Westbourne's Local Charitable causes.
Southbourne
Come along and enjoy the Christmas lights in Southbourne whilst wandering along the high street. With Christmas trees along Southbourne Grove and a glowing and bright gingerbread house, it is a beautiful sight to see this December.

Westbourne
Celebrate this festive time of the year in Westbourne's independent shops, art gallery, beauty salons, gift shops and award winning bakeries, bars and restaurants. Westbourne will be a feast for the senses this Christmas with plenty of traditional Christmas fayre to tempt you in the many varied independent eateries dotted around the area.
The Coastal BID will be adding extra sparkle to your Christmas by lighting up the streets with magical, bespoke illuminations, complimented by a programme of entertainment every advent Saturday in December in Westbourne.
Get into the festive spirit with a host of musical performances including everything from carolling choirs, to singalongs by the Christmas Tree. Listen to the beautiful sound of cellists and everything from folk music to Barber Quartets, there'll be plenty of music to get in the mood for the season every Saturday from 10:30am on 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th December.
Look out for our special teddy and let him lead you along our Christmas trail, which has been laid by the magical Elf, find the clues and the special Christmas prizes. You can also catch our Elf telling stories on Saturday mornings at 10:30am.
Westbourne’s shops will also be alive on Thursday evenings in December, starting from 1st December, for late night shopping between 5pm-7pm. Shop owners will be making sure that shoppers have a very festive welcome by providing nibbles, mulled wine, and entertainment in the evening. There is even a chance to win Westbourne’s Thursday night lucky shopper prize, to be drawn every week of £100!
