About Us

We are a friendly family owned and run company operating Bournemouth's closest caravan holiday home, luxury holiday lodge and touring parks situated in superb riverside locations. Our wonderful location makes us the ideal holiday base for exploring the Dorset Jurassic Coast, New Forest National Park, the Isle of Wight and the lovely town of Christchurch.

As a company we pride ourselves on the cleanliness and quality of our luxury holiday accommodation and Touring caravan pitches and facilities.

Grove Farm Meadow is a five star park offering luxury Rose award holiday caravans, touring pitches and holiday home sales. The park is beautifully landscaped and planted with an abundance of flowers, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment to compliment its stunning riverside location. In keeping with this ideal we choose not to offer clubs or bars and operate a no pets policy.

Location & Awards

Relax by the river at Meadowbank Holidays. A high quality caravan park near Bournemouth and The New Forest.

Ideally located on the South Coast, in the beautiful town of Christchurch, Dorset.  Grove Farm Meadow is situated in an idyllic riverside position on the Bournemouth and Christchurch boundary. We also offer a unique opportunity to own a holiday home in the lovely town of Christchurh.

Grove Farm Meadow is a visit England five star and AA five pennant park.

Meadowbank Holidays operate the closest holiday park to Bournemouth’s  stunning seven mile golden sand beach. We are also superbly located for accessing the New Forest National Park, Jurassic Coast,  The Isle of Wight and the lovely counties of Dorset,  Hampshire and Wiltshire. The park is also within easy reach of numerous family attractions together with a superb selection of pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes.

Activities & Facilities

At Meadowbank Holidays, cleanliness and quality is at the forefront and of all of our accommodation range from our Luxury Deluxe to our modern and well equipped Comfort range holiday homes. Details on all our homes can be found under caravan descriptions.

Our lovely holiday park  has a well stocked shop open from Easter until the close of the season, a launderette, games room and children’s play area. The river bank also provides a lovely riverside walk along the park and golf course which finishes at a popular family restaurant / pub.

A particular attraction to many guests is the good quality free coarse fishing available. Further details can be found on the fishing page of this website.

Our accommodation is also popular with golfers being only a 5-10 minute walk from the Iford Golf Centre. This has two public courses; a full size 18 hole and a 9 hole par 3 course ideal for families. The golf centre is accessed via a footbridge across the river.

Meadowbank Holidays operate an immaculately maintained park whose vibrant floral displays have earned numerous accolades over recent years. Regretfully we do not accept pets or single sex “groups” in our holiday caravans.

Bookings

Online accommodation bookings are available Saturday to Saturday across our complete range of holiday homes and Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday across a select range. Other more bespoke bookings are often available by contacting our friendly reception on 01202 483597.

Touring Caravans & Motor Homes

We offer the closest touring caravan and motor home site to Bournemouth set in an idyllic peaceful riverside location.

We are pleased to offer three types of touring/motor home pitches which are described below.  We do not offer pitches for camping. Our superb modern facilities block is equipped with free hot showers, baths and a disability friendly wc /shower suite. We also have a modern launderette, shop, games room, children’s play area and dish washing area. Free WiFi is provided across the park and free fishing during open season is available on our stretch of the River Stour. Our touring pitches are bookable for a minimum of 2 nights except the luxury pitches which due to popularity have booking requirements as detailed below.

Luxury Pitch

Generously sized hard-standing pitches with a pea shingle awning base. Individual electric points, drinking water taps, aerial connection points and waste water disposal services are also included. Please note: These pitches are bookable Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday only from the third weekend in May until the third weekend in September.

Large Pitch

A spacious grass awning pitch with electric hook up and shared water facilities. Please note: breathable groundsheets only are permitted on these pitches.

Holiday Caravans & Luxury Lodges for Sale 

Meadowbank Holidays present a wonderful opportunity to own your own caravan holiday home on a beautiful quiet riverside holiday park in one of the countries premier holiday areas.

Standard Pitch: A small grass pitch with electric hook up, suited to very small caravans/motor and camper vans.  Awnings are not permitted on these pitches.
