Ready… set… go! Whether it’s a Hollywood blockbuster, a bespoke wedding, an outdoor gig or a spectacular flashmob promotion, Bournemouth has loads of stunning locales and a crack Events Team to make sure your shebang happens without a hitch.


Bournemouth is the perfect place to hold your event and with a dedicated team covering events on the Seafront, in the Town Centre and in Bournemouth Parks and Gardens, you need look no further for your location.

If you want to organise an event in Bournemouth, the Events Team need at least 10 working days to process your application. The first step is to fill in an application form (below) to give the Events Team a better idea of your plans. From the Health and Safety side, all event organisers must provide a risk assessment and a copy of their public liability insurance (although this doesn’t need to be provided at the time of application).

Once the Events Team are in receipt of your application, they will contact you for more details or to arrange a meeting to discuss you proposals further. Please follow the links below for a selection of relevant documents ready for download:



Bournemouth is a perfect location for filming, with a plethora of locations on the wish list of any cinematographer. The town has crews on location throughout the year filming for commercials, documentaries, films and news items.
