Looking for something to keep the kids active and entertained in 2016? With a range of exciting activities to try and the beautiful backdrop of the sea, you’re spoilt for choice at the new Coastal Activity Park at Boscombe, Bournemouth!
With a line-up of more than 15 activities for all ages and levels of fitness waiting for you, the problem will be cramming it all in!
Take your pick from volleyball, bouldering or snorkelling sessions. You can also book a volleyball court for the whole family – which can also be set up for beach tennis – for just £12 an hour or why not challenge friends to a football or touch rugby game? If there’s a particular sport that you fancy trying but don’t have the equipment to hand, give us a call and we’ll see if we have what you need available for hire.
And best of all, there’s no need to break the bank – plenty of options are completely free! Scale the boulders beside Boscombe Pier, smash your opponent at table tennis and swing ball or compose a tune on Pier’s musical trail. If you’re keen to tone up or shed a few pounds, the 16-gym ‘buddy’ outdoor trail runs the entire length of the Park, designed to give a full-body work-out. With its stunning seafront views, it’s perfect before or after work, and it sure beats paying gym fees!
“The new Park provides a fantastic new attraction for Boscombe visitors and residents with something for everyone,” says David Collier, Coastal Activity Park Manager.
“Boscombe has become increasingly popular with active beach-goers, by adding new facilities everyone will be able to try new sports and enjoy exercising even more on one of the most beautiful stretches of UK coastline.
There’s plenty of action for families including bouldering, table-tennis, slack-lining and of course a host of water sports. For the first time, swimmers will be able to snorkel the reef and get up-close-and-personal with the marine life now populating it.”
